Snapchat is introducing new language-learning lenses for some Indian languages. These lenses can recognise over 1,000 objects, using AR and machine learning, and show their translated names along with a phonetic transcription to help users learn the language better. The languages supported by this feature are Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, and Telugu.
